Boxercise Classes at PrimalX Fitness
If martial arts, boxing or kickboxing rocks your boat then you’re gonna love Boxercise! 1 hour fitness class with boxing combinations, burnout drills, core challenges and more. Burn fat, shape up and feel invincible. Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness levels As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout.
No matter what your fitness level is we can progress or regress to suit your level ! Toughen up, get fit, get it out of your system and have fun under the watchful eye of our qualified Boxercise instructors Stephen and Steph.
Boxercise makes you stronger
Like any workout you may have done in the past, if done consistently, boxercise helps to build muscle and improve muscle tone. Also, because it is more aggressive the results are more appealing and in some cases might appear earlier. The routine also features some fast paced hooks, upper cuts and even swoops that engage the shoulders, back, your core and even the arms. It makes tightening and toning with each punch a reality.
As Boxercise is a full body workout the lower body is not forgotten so you can expect some burpees,lunges and squats to deliver a workout that packs a punch
Boxercise for cardio
Our Boxercise class is intense and fast-paced so expect to sweat . 1hour Boxercise class can burn up to 1000cals so bring a towel and some water !!!
Boxercise is for everybody
The most beautiful thing about boxercise is that it is for everyone. Of course you don’t expect everybody to be at the same level but if you have a will to try hard and gain results then you will be fine. It doesn’t matter if you are looking to lose weight, want to boost your self esteem or if you just enjoy a challenge we have the class for you .. It is a great way to vent while making a positive impact on your body and because it does not require superior athletic ability.
One of the main benefits of Boxercise is the sense of community and comradery , as participants are paired with a partner for the duration of the class ,strong friendships have been bonded in this class .
Our instructor Steph was originally a client of ours when she started a 6 Week Transformation back in 2016 ,Steph lost a total of 6 stone (38kg) in her first year of training and Boxercise was the class that helped her start her fitness journey so it holds special importance to her ! so special in fact she went on to become a qualified Boxercise instructor .Steph knows the struggle it takes to start and continue on a fitness journey and is willing to help you every step of the way. If that doesn’t inspire you to make a change then I don’t know what will!
To protect your hands while boxing, we provide boxing gloves and pads but for hygiene reasons we suggest you bring your own plus a towel and some water . Boxercise is suitable for both Men and Women so why not book in a Class through our app PrimalX Fitness or via book a class on our website
